Outcome of 2019 Gift Day Appeal: Members of the congregation have supported this year’s Appeal most generously and this is very much appreciated. The donations made (exclusive of gift aid) this year total £3,700 and gift aid should add an extra £790, making the total benefit to St John’s £4,490. The Gift Day donations (exclusive of gift aid) in 2018 totalled £4,000, but this sum included a non-recurring windfall to St John’s of £1,000 thanks to the generosity of one particular member- so the figure for this year is really excellent and thanks go to all who contributed.
