Zoom Service – Sunday 31st May 2020

10.40 a.m. Invitation to Worship
Joanne Hood is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
Topic:  Pentecost Sunday Worship
Previous login and password credentials are still valid but you will require Zoom Version  5.0 or greater to join the meeting (see below)

Sunday is Pentecost so as is our tradition, if possible, could you wear something red for the service. We will also be having a shared moment with bread and wine during the service so you may want to look out whatever you would like to have for that.

The Church of Scotland are also streaming a service for Pentecost on Sunday 10-10.30 a.m. on the Church of Scotland website and Facebook page. This service will also be available to view after it has been streamed live.

As detailed in the magazine, St Mary’s Episcopal Church have invited us to share their daily hymn. David Hamilton, the organist at St Mary’s, is taking requests for hymns that people would like to hear and recording one a day which is then put into a video with reflective images and uploaded onto St Mary’s Facebook page. If you would like more details about how to access the hymns or to request a hymn feel free to drop an email to Claire in the office (office@stjohnshamilton.org.uk)

Zoom Upgrade

From 30th May, you will require Zoom Version 5.0 or greater to join meetings.  Some tablets and mobiles may be set to perform upgrades automatically. The current version installed can be determined from the Zoom settings menu (gear wheel). If your current version is lower than 5.0 you will require to upgrade via the relevant app store for your device.

If you haven’t upgraded, when you click the email link on Sunday, you should be offered opportunity to upgrade to V 5.0.  You will require to do this to participate in this and future meetings.
