The remainder of our leadership team is continuing to the summer where after they too will be retiring. The leadership team is keen to get a new leader and support team in place before then to allow them to assist the new leadership team. We are looking for some volunteers to take on these roles and allow the mini cubs to continue. This is particularly helpful for us in Lent as we begin and end the season by celebrating the Lord’s Supper, first of all on the first Sunday in Lent and then again on Easter Sunday at both our 9.30 a.m. and 10.45 a.m. services.

Food for Thought will last for an hour and people can choose whether they want to stay on for the evening service on those Sunday which will further explore the theme of that week.

Tuesday 12th March
The People’s Passion – Be Part of It!
This year our play will be performed in five churches throughout Holy Week. Could you get involved? We need people for crowd scenes and to lead some participation from the pews. People to help behind the scenes are also needed.

Those involved in crowd scenes would be in costume, joining Jesus and the disciples as they celebrate Palm Sunday. You need to be available for all services, Sun 14th April 6.30 p.m. (South Wishaw): Monday 15th April 7.30 p.m (Hamilton URC); Tuesday 16th April 7.30 p.m. (Dalziel St Andrews); Wednesday 17th April 7.00 p.m. (Lanark Greyfriars); Friday 19th April 7.30 p.m (Carluke St Andrews).

Those leading participation from the pews don’t need to be available for every performance and will simply support the congregations’ involvement. There will be two rehearsals for those interested, Tuesday 12th March at 7.00 p.m. in Hamilton Old Parish Church and Tuesday 19th March at 7.00 p.m. in Dalziel St Andrews.

Please do come along and join us, or for further details contact dramakirk@gmail.com
