Elders – for those not on email, papers for the Kirk Session meeting can be collected from the office.

St John’s ‘Centre’ and Life and Work –  Both publications are now available for distribution.  If you do not  have a Centre magazine delivered copies are  available from the entrance to the Forum Café and Centre.

Avonbridge Care Home – monthly service at the home 2.00pm.  All welcome.

Lent Discussion Group 2016 ‘Food for Thought’ meeting takes place tonight 5.15-6.15pm.  Everyone is welcome to come along and join in.

Evening Service 6.30pm preacher Rev Ross Blackman. 

Monday 7th March 

Guild – 7.30pm  Our speaker this week is Mr T Quinn a volunteer at the Commonwealth Games.

Tuesday 8th March  

Friendly Hour – Outing, coach leaves the church at 10.15am.

Wednesday 9th March 

Kirk Session meeting at 7.00pm.

Thursday 10th March 

Midweek service, at 12:15pm in the Church sanctuary. The service will last about 15-30 minutes, so please come along and invite a friend.

Upcoming dates

Youth Group:  Kenneth Johnston, coordinator of the Hyzone Youth Project, will be leading our evenings so that the Youth Group can work on a creative     project together.  Youth Group is for everyone in S1-S6.  Even if you’ve never been before come and join us for this exciting project.  The evenings Kenneth will be there are 13th March & 24th April.  Meetings start at 7.30pm.

Messy Church

Messy Easter – Saturday 19th March 10.30am-12.30pm.  Activities for children in prams to P7 (but can be enjoyed by all).  All children must come with an adult.

Please note that SLC will commence work on the muti-storey pedestrian car park ramp on 7th March for 4 weeks.  The ramp will be closed to

pedestrians Monday-Saturday, however there will be access from Level 3 on a Sunday.

The Brownies are collecting Sainsbury’s Active kids vouchers this year. There is a box in the Forum where they can be donated. Thank you for your support.
