World Aids Day Event – 7.00pm in Church. Monica MacDondald, Secretary Friends of Place of Restoration will speak about POR’s work for and with AIDS orphans, we are also being joined by Angela Crawley MP. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served after the service.

Senior Members Christmas Gifts – Could the committee please meet in the Millennium Room at 10.00am. By 10.15am the gifts should be ready for distribution. As in the past, we are looking for volunteers to help with this rewarding task. We have more than 75 gifts to distribute and some help would be appreciated, as the districts can be very varied and spread throughout Hamilton.

Sunday Blast – Pantomime Sunday 10th December. The availability of pantomime tickets for December is limited to 50. As such priority will be given to children, and the parents of young children who attend St Johns Sunday Blast. The names of children who will be going, along with payment and permission slip, should be given to Elizabeth Gordon by the 12th of November (TODAY)

7.00 p.m.Passion Play 2018 – “Renewal Through Resurrection”
Building on the success of “Walk with Christ” Hamilton churches will produce a full passion play on Easter Saturday 2018 (31st March), telling the story of the last week of Jesus’ life.  Our first rehearsal will be held on Tuesday 14th November at 7.00 p.m. in Cadzow Parish Church for anyone who is interested in being involved in this, whether this is as a performer or behind the scenes. Rehearsals then continue Monday 20th and Tuesday 28th November; Monday 4th and Tuesday 12th December.

This will be an exciting opportunity to take the gospel story into the heart of Hamilton. You don’t need to have any performance experience or particular skills, all are welcome, come along and see what you think.

6.30 p.m.  Remember Together  – A remembrance event for all ages hosted by Hamilton: St John’s Parish Church of Scotland.  This event will include performances from local schools, encourage reflection on what remembrance is for, and offer an act of remembrance for us to experience together.  Refreshments will be provided after the event. A Auld & D Leslie will welcome you to the service.

Sunday 10th December
Sunday Blast – Pantomime The availability of pantomime tickets for December is limited to 50. This is to ensure that the children do not miss out and they get the chance to see Santa after the pantomime! Other parents and family members can then be allocated any additional tickets.
