Heart & Soul 2019:
This event runs from 1pm and will finish with worship from 5pm. The Heart & Soul Swing Band will be playing at the Ross bandstand at 4pm.
Heart & Soul Live and Local. From 1:30pm until the end of worship we will be broadcasting a live, hosted programme live from the Gardens. We would love people to gather with friends and watch together, or simply spend some time on their own watching and taking part in the event. You will be able to join Heart & Soul Live and Local at www.heartandsoul.org.uk.

St John’s ‘Centre’ Magazine: All material for the Summer issue must be with the Editor by TODAY; Sunday 19th May. Remember this is your magazine, your news and articles would be much appreciated. If you have anything you would like in the magazine, items can be left in the top right basket marked Magazine Editors in the rack outside the office or sent be email to: office @stjohnshamilton.org.uk

Outcome of 2019 Gift Day Appeal: Members of the congregation have supported this year’s Appeal most generously and this is very much appreciated. The donations made (exclusive of gift aid) this year total £3,700 and gift aid should add an extra £790, making the total benefit to St John’s £4,490. The Gift Day donations (exclusive of gift aid) in 2018 totalled £4,000, but this sum included a non-recurring windfall to St John’s of £1,000 thanks to the generosity of one particular member- so the figure for this year is really excellent and thanks go to all who contributed.

Heart and Soul Stand 2015

We thoroughly enjoyed participating at Heart and Soul 2015 in Princes Street Gardens Edinburgh two weeks ago.  We met lots of people from churches all round Scotland and telling them about the work we do at St John’s.

Here is a picture of our team hard at work.

Our Minister, Joanne Hood was also there representing the Church of Scotland as part of the Heart and Soul Swing Band.
