Forum Café  – There are currently opportunities to join the team of volunteers who work in the Forum Café.  If you are interested please speak to Karen Limond, Christine McArthur, Janet Boyes or Janet Howson

Guests are St John Singers and Woodhead Primary School Choir.  Tickets £8 for adults, £5 concessions, are available from the Motherwell Box Office (01698 403120) or from Hughina Naylor, Anne MacLeod and Anne Mackie

2.00 p.m. Christian Aid Events – Whitelee Windfarm, Eaglesham:

The churches in Hamilton are participating together in a sponsored event to raise funds to support the work of Christian Aid Safe Place Challenge

Grace Thom and Callum Noble are taking part in this challenge along with some children from the Old Parish.  They require sponsorship for this event and would welcome any support our congregation can give.  If you can sponsor them look for them after the service.

Sunday Blast & Crèche resume after the Summer break

Life & Work & Centre Magazine – both publications are now available for distribution.  If your Centre magazine is not delivered copies are available from the entrance to the Forum.

There will be a planning meeting for those able to help at Messy Moses (Saturday 30th September) after the service, in the church.

2.00 p.m. Avonbridge Care Home: Monthly service at the home. All welcome.

6.30 p.m. Evening Worship and Holy Communion

6.30 p.m. Dalziel St Andrew’s Parish Church are holding a signed praise evening ‘Come, Now is the Time to Worship’   This event is for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, but everyone is welcome.

Saturday 9th September
11.00 a.m.  A 7 mile sponsored walk along the majestic turbines which will examine how climate change affects global communities. This event is for all ages.

Sunday 10th September

2.00 p.m. An event for youths aged 10-14 called The Safe Place Challenge. This is an outdoor adventure to help young people understand how to survive without home comforts. Each group of 4-5 (plus an adult leader) will work together to complete basic survival skill challenges including building a shelter, making a fire and finding clean water. The event will finish around 5.00 p.m.
