 4.00 p.m.  Joint Advent Communion Service at United Reformed Church
 7.30 pm – World Aids Day Concert at St John’s featuring our Sing with Swing Choir, some swing band friends and Woodside Primary Big Singing Group.

  • Life and Work and Centre Magazine  – both publications available for collection.
  • FWO envelopes – Available for distribution from the Millennium Hall.
  • Elders to collect parcels for senior members from the Millennium Hall after morning worship

St John’s Guild – Invitation to Fellowship: Entertainment from Hamilton Grammar School Pupils.  Everyone is welcome to come along.

Tuesday 3rd December
Friendly Hour – Festive Treat: Concert

Wednesday 4th December
1.30 p.m. Hamilton South Guilds Together – Carol Service in St John’s .

Thursday 5th December
10.30 a.m. Bible Study Group in the Youth Room. This group meets weekly. Please come along and join us.
12.15 p.m. Midweek Service – in the Church Sanctuary. The services last 15 – 30 minutes. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Saturday 7th December
10.00 a.m. Guild Coffee Morning
12.30 p.m. Reindeer Parade Join Drama Kirk, Santa and the reindeer for the parade on the 7th of December! This year’s nativity is “A New Star” a charming performance which tells the Christmas story from the perspective of the stars. The parade leaves the bottom cross at 12.30 and the short nativity will be performed soon after arrival at the top cross. Please do bring young families and friends along to this lovely family event.

Drama Kirk Fundraising Concert
A huge thanks to everyone who was involved in and supported the concert on Saturday in aid of Drama Kirk. Both St Johns Singers and St Marys School Choir were wonderful and a fabulous evening of entertainment was had by all. Over £1300 was raised for Drama Kirk and we really appreciated the support and hard work of all involved.  Thank you.

Safeguard Training

Christmas Welcome Team   If you would like to help welcome people to any of St. John’s Christmas services please speak to one of the Welcome Team or contact Ann Auld  as above  The services are Christmas Eve at 6.30 p.m. and 11.30 p.m. and Christmas Day at 10.30 a.m..

The toddler group that runs on a Friday 10.00 -11.30 a.m. is looking for new members. All pre-school ages are catered for. £1 per session. If you know anyone who is interested they can just come along on a Friday morning or can contact Claire in the office (office@stjohnshamilton.org.uk/01698286868) for more information.
