1.30 -3.30 p.m. Sing with Swing Choir Anyone who is interested is very welcome.
2.00 p.m. Lights to Remember: In association with Marie Curie, St Mary’s Episcopal Church is holding a ‘Lights to Remember’ event. This will be a service of live music, poetry and reflection to give people a space and time to remember those we have loved and lost as Christmas approaches. Refreshments provided.
7:30 p.m. Drama Kirk Fundraising Concert featuring St John’s Singers, St Mary’s School Choir & Drama Kirk.

The Centre will be closed from Monday 25th November and will reopen on Monday 2nd December to allow for the installation of a new heating system. All Groups, including SALT, Friendly Hour, Midweek Service, Thursday morning Bible Study, all Scouting and Guiding groups, toddler groups, lunch club, Musical Memories, Choir and the Forum Café will be cancelled for that week.
Would the Pastoral Care Committee please meet at 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday 27th November in the Church to prepare the parcels for the Elders to distribute to the senior members. The Elders have to pick up the parcels from the office on Sunday 1st December, after the morning Communion Service. Last year it proved to be a very successful way of distributing the parcels and resulted in additional people being added to the list.

There is a concert on Friday 29th November at Jackson Church in Airdrie at 7.30 p.m.

7.30 pm – World Aids Day Concert at St John’s featuring our Sing with Swing Choir, some swing band friends and Woodside Primary Big Singing Group.
Saturday 7th December
12.30 p.m. Reindeer Parade Join Drama Kirk, Santa and the reindeer for the parade on the 7th of December! This year’s nativity is “A New Star” a charming performance which tells the Christmas story from the perspective of the stars. The parade leaves the bottom cross at 12.30 and the short nativity will be performed soon after arrival at the top cross. Please do bring young families and friends along to this lovely family event.

Volunteering Opportunity at Hamilton Child Contact Centre, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Hamilton, ML3 6JT
There is a volunteering opportunity at the Hamilton Child Contact Centre. Main duties include: help put both parents/family members and children at ease, ensure availability of suitable play equipment and materials, escort children between each parent, complete contact arrangements as advised by the Manager and to report any problems/incidents immediately to the Manager, maintain confidentiality and be non-judgemental and neutral and assist in the smooth running of the Centre by keeping records of attendance etc.
Requirement: On a Saturday morning (9.45 a.m.-1.15 p.m.) or afternoon (1.15 p.m.-4.45 p.m.) or a full day – approximately every third Saturday. Travel expenses are paid.
