Crossreach Calendars 2020
Time to place your orders for the Crossreach Pictorial Calendars for 2020. Marion Baird will be in the Forum after the close of Church service on Sundays 13th and 20th October and will be pleased to take your order of a calendar to help support the work of Crossreach in this their 150 year of providing social care in Scotland. Thank you for supporting Crossreach in this way.

Harvest Appeal 2019
Once again St John’s has responded very generously to this year’s Appeal. Envelopes are still at the Church doors and in the Forum Cafe for use by any who would still like to contribute. The Appeal will be closed as at Sunday, 20th October.

Drama Kirk
Friday 1st November  7.00 p.m. in Hamilton Old Parish Church.
Join us for an evening of bible-inspired improvised comedy, as teams from three of Hamilton’s churches compete in a series of drama games, acting out scenarios suggested by you, the audience! But bear in mind….you might see some bible characters in a whole new light! For a taster of what to expect.

Safeguard Training

Volunteer Safeguarding Training
The volunteer safeguard training in Strathaven has been rescheduled. It will be  held in Strathaven Trinity on Wednesday 30th October from 7.00 p.m. till 9.00 p.m.. If you would like to attend please contact Ann Auld

7.00 – 9.00 p.m. There will be Kirk Session Safeguarding Training at Uddingston Burnhead.

10.00 a.m. – 12.00 noon A Volunteer Training Event will be held at Airdrie Jackson.

Operation Christmas Child: Shoebox Appeal
The shoeboxes for this year’s appeal will be available after the service on 22nd September and each Sunday thereafter at a cost of 50p. The filled boxes will be collected after the service on 17th November.
