GIFT DAY – The response to date has been very encouraging. Since the Gift Day envelopes were not made available as early as originally anticipated, there may be some members who wish to contribute, but as yet have not done so. Accordingly, it has been agreed to extend the end date to Saturday, 31st March. Envelopes remain available in the Centre, at the Church doors and went out with the March editions of the Church magazine. They can be returned either in the plate at Sunday services or placed in the Treasurer’s box in the corridor outside the Church office. Many thanks to all who have already contributed.

Holy Week at St John’s 2018
Monday 26th – Thursday 29th March at 12.00 Noon
Holy Week Worship : “Once you know the M.O.” A short daily worship exploring the impact of each day’s events as Jesus approaches Golgotha.
Tuesday 27th March
1.30 p.m. Friendly Hour – Our final meeting for this session will be a short A.G.M followed by music and singing from Catherine & Vincent Morgan.
3.00 p.m. Passion Play: Stewards – If you could help out on Saturday 31st March as a steward, there will be a briefing session at Castle Street on Tuesday 27th March at 3 p.m. If you cannot make this time but are interested please do let us know, as another session can be arranged. 07917 876 261. Friday 30th March
12.00 – 3.00 p.m. Good Friday Vigil. A 3 hour vigil with reflection on the hour and half hour, ending with the sharing of bread and wine.
Easter Sunday 1st April
6.30 a.m. Hamilton Old Parish Church
6.30 a.m. Outside Chatelherault Lodge (with Joanne conducting worship)
Both these services are followed by breakfast rolls at Hamilton Old Parish Church Halls
9.30 a.m. “Early in the garden..” Worship for all ages together in the garden (weather permitting) with family celebration of the Lord’s Supper
10.45 a.m. Easter Sunday Worship More traditional worship with the choir, sermon and celebration of the Lord’s Supper.

3.00 p.m. “Give thanks for life!” A service of thanksgiving for those who may be gone from our midst, but are never forgotten. If you want to give thanks for the influence someone has had on your life come and join us for this short worship event.
