There will be a retiring collection for our two Scouts who are going on a Scout Expedition.

St John’s ‘Centre’ magazine:  All material for the March issue must be with the Editor by TODAY, NO LATER. Remember this is your magazine, your news and articles would be much appreciated.  If you have anything you would like in the magazine items can be left in the top right basket marked Magazine Editors in the rack outside the office, or sent by email

Book Corner – Easter cards are now in stock.  We also have St John’s pens with a stylus on top for sale at 80p each.

5.15 p.mFood for Thought – Lent discussion group begins  and will run for 5 weeks.  We will have something to eat together as we discuss Lent material until 6.15 p.m.  People are welcome to stay for evening service if they wish or just attend Food for Thought.  Sign up sheet for those planning to attend will be in the Forum, simply to help with catering.  Joanne will provide the food on the first week.

6.30 p.m. Evening Communion Service J McIntyre & S Thomson will be on duty

Monday 19th February
7.30 p.m. Guild Floral Tea  Musical entertainment with Ronald Mackie, tickets £3.50.

Tuesday 20th February
1.30 p.m. Friendly Hour – Our speaker this week is George Lippiath.  Tea and coffee will be served as usual, all welcome.

Wednesday 21st February
7.30 p.m. – 8.45 p.m. St John’s Fellowship in the Clyde Room.  Do not miss the opportunity to hear Harry Doyle with an illustrated talk about The Duke of Hamilton and his Duchesses.  Refreshments provided.

Thursday 22nd February
10.30 a.m. Bible Study Group  This group meets weekly, please come along and join us.
12.15 p.m. Midweek Service in the Church Sanctuary.  The service will last about 15-30 minutes, everyone is welcome to come along.
