Funeral services for two of our members will take place this week.

Service for the late Mr K Redpath will be held in Church on Wednesday 31st January at 12.15 p.m. followed by committal for family and close friends.

Service for the late Mrs A Cannon will be on Friday 2nd February 11.45 a.m. at South Lanarkshire Crematorium.  Please remember both families in your prayers at this sad time.

Monday 29th January
2.00 p.m. Guild – This week our meeting will begin at 2.00 p.m. when our speaker will be Mr John Walker with the story of the Victoria Cross.

Tuesday 30th January
1.30 p.m. Friendly Hour – this week we will be joined by the Very Rev Ian Barcroft minister of St Mary’s Episcopal Church.  Refreshments served a usual.
7.30 p.m. SALT Bible Study meets in the Millennium Room

Wednesday 31st January
7.30 p.m. St John’s Fellowship will meet in the Clyde Room.  In a change from the syllabus our speaker this week will be George MacRitchie from Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Thursday 1st February
10.30 a.m. Bible Study Group  This group meets weekly, please come along and join us.
12.15 p.m. Midweek Service in the Church Sanctuary.  The service will last about 15-30 minutes, everyone is welcome to come along.

Saturday 3rd February
10.00 a.m. – 12.00 noon Safeguarding training for the Kirk Session is being held in St. John’s.  Any member of the Kirk Session who would like to attend please contact Ann Auld or send email

Obituary – Mr Kim Redpath

It is with sadness we announce the death on Tuesday 16th January of Mr Kim Redpath. 

Service will be held in Church on Wednesday 31st January at 12.15 p.m. followed by committal for family and close friends.  Please remember his family and friends in your prayers at this sad time.

There will be a planning meeting for Messy Church helpers in the church after the morning service today. This is to make plans for our next Messy Church which is the story of Noah. We are always looking for new helpers so if you have an interest in helping please come along.

 7.30 p.m.St John’s Fellowship meets in the Clyde Room, when the Very Rev Ian Barcroft Rector of St. Mary’s will speak on a Topic associated with the Episcopalian Church. Please come along, details of the AGM dinner menu are also now available.
