Marion Baird will be in the kitchen after close of worship on Sunday 8,15,22,and 29 October to take your orders.
The Book Corner has a vacancy for a helper on the 2nd Tuesday morning of each month from 10am- 12noon. Please speak to Delia Hart if you would like to help. The 28 month diaries are now in stock.
St John’s Coach Trips
As previous Christmas Trips to Kirkby Lonsdale were very enjoyable, a four day trip to the Manchester area could be arranged if there is sufficient interest. An outline of the itinerary would be:
Day 1 – Hamilton to hotel with coffee stop probably at Moffat and a lunch stop at Barton Grange Garden Centre. This stop has been used previously.
Day 2 – Manchester Trafford Centre in morning; afternoon to Continental Market in Manchester City centre.
Day 3 – Liverpool (or back to Manchester if a return visit is preferred)
Day 4 – Hotel to Hamilton with stop at Barton Grange Garden Centre.
The provisional dates for the Christmas Market are 10 November- 20 December. To minimise the Christmas crowds, mid November would be preferred. This will be dictated by hotel availability. A meeting will be held after this morning’s service to discuss these suggestions and establish the level of interest.
